Join us for hands-on workshops at Harbourfront Centre! TAIWANfest presents fun, all-ages workshops where culture, story, and craft comes together.

Michelin-recommended Hakka chef from Taiwan Ted Liao presents a handcrafted cola-making workshop where Hakka flavours are reinterpreted. Award-winning musician ZiXuan Huang will share insights on how to write fresh Hakka songs. Discover the history and diversity of black tea from Taiwan and Scotland with a tea-sealing workshop. Toronto-based artists will lead crafts workshops such as Tao calligraphy and seed-paper making.
