Roots To Bloom

Roots to Bloom is a Tkaronto-based collective, led by emerging community artists, Joaquin Varela and Sylvie Stojanovski. Our goal is to build vital connections between nature and communities through leading fun, tactical and exploratory art activities. Art is an approachable alternative to increasing access to park space for marginalized folks that have been historically excluded from the discourse of environmental participation. We use art-making to imagine more inclusive and sustainable futures, cultivate environmental stewardship and build ecological empathy.
