FrogWatch in High Park

*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 06/19/2024
Learn about the diversity of native frogs and their different calls while contributing to community science in High Park.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Join us in High Park for FrogWatch, a community science program. We’ll spend the evening listening for frog calls, learning about the different frogs that call High Park home, their role in the ecosystem and some of the threats they face.

Note: Frogs are wild animals and are on their own timetables. We might not see or hear any during the event – and that’s OK too! Not hearing or seeing frogs is still important community science data. The absence of frogs can be a useful indicator of the health of an ecosystem.
