Christmas Bird Count for Kids in High Park

Join us in High Park for this family- and children-friendly Christmas Bird Count, the longest-running community science project in North America. This popular winter holiday event offers little birders and their caregivers an easy and fun opportunity to contribute to stewardship by documenting winter bird populations in High Park! We’ll start with a story time then head out on the trails on a 45-minute walk to spot as many birds as possible! After the walk, we’ll return to the Nature Centre for a light snack and make bird-themed ornaments.
