WHAT IS THE COGNITIVE INTENSIVE PROGRAM?
The Cognitive Intensive Program (CIP) is an intensive approach to cognitive change. A 10-month program is compressed into a 6 or 8-week period. Students work for multiple periods per day on the Symbol Relations cognitive exercise and to achieve results in a shorter time and have fun engaging in crafts, science experiments and physical activity during "breaks" throughout the day.
Available In-Person (Toronto) & Online
6 Weeks In-Person - July 6th to August 14th
8 Weeks Online - Any 8 weeks between June 15th and August 21st
Combined Program Offering:
Families with busy summer schedules may choose our CIP Combined Program which combines two program types by engaging in CIP for 3 weeks In-Person or 4 weeks Online, followed by 4 months (Sept. to Dec.) of our Symbol Relations Independent Check-In (SRIC) program or daily classes, Monday to Friday for 40-minutes (Sept.-Dec.).
3 Weeks In-Person - Any three weeks between July 6th to August 14th + 40 minutes Mon-Fri, Sept. to Dec.
4 Weeks Online - Any 4 weeks between June 15th and August 21st + 40 minutes Mon-Fri, Sept. to Dec.
Note: there is also an Independent Option for the second part of the Combined Program - work when you can (min 200 minutes per week) and meet with a teacher as needed for up to 20-40 minutes per week.

SYMBOL RELATIONS COGNITIVE FUNCTION
The Symbol Relations Cognitive Function is a higher-order cognitive function responsible for understanding and connecting ideas. It is involved in tasks that enable an individual to reason using logic, and to connect and process complex relationships and concepts simultaneously.
